It won't be too much longer and there will be another member in our family. We made the decision to give the baby her own room until she can sleep at night, so that means Josh and Hannah get to share a room. Which means cramming two bedrooms worth of stuff into one small room, after a bunch of purging, of course. So we took advantage of the long weekend, headed out and bought the kids bunk beds.
Here they are using the big scissors to cut off the plastic wrapping.
Hannah wanted us all to take a photo break.
Two happy kids.
This is Hannah's first big girl bed (she's been sleeping in her crib like a day bed).
Shad put up a second rod in the closet so now all their clothes fit into one closet.
The toy box corner.
Besides complaining that the other is too noisy at night, the kids seem to be adjusting to sharing a room pretty well. By the time the baby gets here, they should totally acclimated to it...right?

Funny, that's what I've been doing lately. I've crammed all four kids' clothes, shoes, and toys in one closet. Then I'm getting rid of their dressers to make room for another bed. Annalise and Elijah get into everything, so I don't want anything out for them to get into. I've got a lock on the closet so that only Kristin and Kayla can get in it. Hopefully that will solve some of the mess that they create. I am so sick of spending all day cleaning their room, then the next day it looks as though a tornado hit it.
