Shad first met Bob on a hunting trip in Idaho. They ran into each other deep in the woods.
When people first meet Bob they can feel a little intimidated by him as he is rather large and pointy.
But, Bob is really just a gentle giant.
He is peaceful and quiet and never causes trouble.
When we sit in the front living room, he enjoys watching our family interact. It even makes him smile.
And he always keep an eye on things. Here he is watching over me as I type away at the computer.
When Shad brought Bob home, ready to be put in his spot, we were all so pleased with how clean Bob was, and not a hair out of place. He takes very good care of himself. At first we didn’t know his name was Bob, we had just been calling him Elk Mount. But, he finally loosened up and told Josh that his name was actually Bob.
The kids love Bob. They say hello to him throughout the day and he just gives them his loving glare. He even brings peace to the house. The other day, Bethany was upset and fussing as she headed to the stairs. Just as she was about to make the turn up the stairs, she stopped crying, looked up and said, “Hey Bob.” (As I type this, Bethany is looking at the screen saying, “Hey! Dere’s Bob!”)
Welcome to the family, Bob.
