We recently had the privilege of visiting our good friends, Jeff and Debbie.
They live about an hour and a half away, so we don't get to see them nearly as much as we would like to.
Since we had been at their house last, they had installed a fire pit, where we got to sit and relax.
Give this girl a seat that is just her size and you can't get her out of it.
Ah, Hannah.
This summer Josh discovered the joy of not wearing a shirt.
This is Kalin, he is all boy and so cute.
And this is Haley. Hannah and her play so well together.
Shad and Jeff met in college at engineering school. They like to go fishing together, but they rarely bring any fish home when they go together. Debbie and I make sure to give them a hard time about that. But we love it when the guys go fishing together because it gives Debbie and I an excuse to hang. Her and I get along as well as our girls do. I first met Debbie when Shad and I attended her wedding to Jeff. I met her in the receiving line. I remember telling her if she ever needed someone to talk to about the trials of being married to an engineer that she should call me. That was it, we were bonded for life.
Debbie is an amazing gardener. This is just her vegetable garden.
Peek-A-Boo! This picture is the epitome of Bethany. She loves to peak around the corner at people.
There she is!
When did Hannah turn 15??
My lovely eldest girl. Still sporting the toothless grin. But she does have two earrings again as of today. She was so nervous about getting her ear re pierced, but she did it.
Josh and his colossal S'more.
And no night would be complete without sending the kids upstairs to wash their dirty feet.
