Another Larry Update

My friend, Karen, is asking if we could all be praying for her husband Larry today.  You may remember that about a month ago he had a very large brain tumor removed.  You can read about that here.  Today they are going to attempt to discharge him from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility.  I say attempt because they tried this a couple weeks ago and he was too angry and combative for him to stay, he was sent back to the hospital.  Physically, Larry is doing fine, but mentally not so great.  The poor guy is having a hard time understanding why he is still at the hospital and why he can't go home.  He is confused, angry and can become a little intimidating.  He is definitely not safe to go home.  So they want him to go to rehab until he is safe to be at home.  For now, the first step to him getting home is getting to the rehab facility.  So I am putting this prayer request out there.  Let's all pray that Larry's mind is at peace today as they transfer him and that he settles in as easily as possible.  Also let's pray that there is a person at the new facility that Larry clicks with, that will be able to reason with Larry if he does become angry and combative.  Also, let's pray for Karen.  I know that it is very difficult for her to see her husband not acting like himself.  I know that she is afraid that he will remain this way and she won't get him back.  This has been a hard time for Karen and Larry and they could use all they prayers we can give them.  Thanks, everyone!
