What I Wore Wednesday

It's only Wednesday?  This week is crawling.  I'm linking up with Pleated Poppy again.  I really tried to make an effort with the outfits this week, well, except the first one.

I started cleaning house and got so hot, it was a very muggy day.

Shoes:  Target (I was at a friend's house and saw another gal wearing these in black and asked where she got them.  I was already planning to hit Target that day, yada, yada, yada, I came home with new shoes.)

Ok, this is a funny story.  Shad and I went shopping for our anniversary and I wanted to go to Nordstrom for a new pair of shoes for my gift.  I was in the market for some nice black sandals.  I saw one pair to try on and the gal brought back 3 other pairs she thought I might like.  When I put these ones on I knew I wanted them.  I never bothered to find out how much they cost.  When she said, "That will be $125," I almost had a stroke.  But I was at the check stand at Nordstrom!  I couldn't back out now.  So, I gave Shad a glance over my shoulder and handed her the Visa.  I now own a pair of $125 flip flops.  Hey, it was our 15th anniversary.
