The Backyard

My friend, Debbie, gave me a bunch of starts from her green house a few weeks ago. They had all been attacked by slugs so they looked a little puny when we got them. They have been in the dirt for about 3 weeks now and are thriving.

I love marigolds, they are so low-maintenance and pretty.

These are the dahlias. They were the most slug ridden, but they are doing very well.

If you look close you can see a flower bud.

Forget-Me-Nots

Our backyard is coming along quite nicely. When we moved back in the grass was patchy and the flower beds were over grown. Now it's a nice place to sit in the evenings to cool off after a hot day.
