This morning I stayed in bed as long as I wanted. While I was in bed I listened to the sound of my wonderful husband feeding the kids breakfast, clearing the dishwasher and putting the dirty dishes in it. Ah, music to my ears! It is such a blessing when Shad can make the 7 hour trek across the state to be home with his family. So today that is one of the many things I am thankful for. A husband that is willing to do whatever he has to to be home with his family on Thanksgiving day.
I am thankful that I have a God that loves me no matter what.
I am thankful to have 2 great kids that keep me on my toes and teach me so much about life in their tiny kid way.
I am thankful that I have amazing parents that are getting ready to celebrate their 40th anniversary!
I am thankful that I have 3 brothers and a sister that are a blast to hang around with and have really great kids to be cousins to my kids.
I am thankful for Shad's family and how much they love us and the kids.
I am thankful that we get to spend the day eating yummy food and just enjoying having our families together.
