Before and After

I decided it was finally time. It was not an easy decision, but, hey, who ever said parenting was easy? Yes, I took Hannah to the salon and had a bunch of her baby curls cut off! Her hair was getting long, but she had two different types of hair. Curly in the back and straight on top. So I decided to cut off the long stuff and try to get the short stuff on top to catch up with the back. Yes, her hair was short on top and long in the back. You know a little business in the front and party in the back. Well, it wasn't that bad, but seriously, it was time to chop!

Front before
Back before...

Here she is enjoying her candy necklace that they gave her for being a good girl. Did I mention that she got the necklace all slobbered up and then proceeded to set it on the floor, on the carpet?! Now it's not because we have sacred carpet, no, it is because we have this gross dirty carpet that I was disgusted. Gross dirty carpet with a shedding black dog living on it! Needless to say Hannah and Norah had dog hair stuck to their faces and hands. So very gross!! And that's not even mentioning all the tiny, not-seen-by-the-naked-eye, gunk that was left here by the people that lived here before us!

Anyway, isn't she pretty?

Last year Annalise was getting that longer-in-the-back, straggly look so I trimmed her hair. I've seen some parents who don't trim their kids' hair until they're old enough to trim it themselves and I just think it looks so much better trimmed. Hanna looks so much like Kayla did at that age.
