A Few Things

I know it has been a couple of posts since I have shared any pictures so I thought I better get some on here! These are from the other day when we drifted the river. Shad and Ralf fished and Kat and I just relaxed and threw kids out of the boat. Into floaties of course! Except for once when we threw Josh in...

See Josh swimming all by himself!

These guys were a little crazy!

Not to change the subject (well OK I want to change the subject really) but I didn't win the free blog design from Once Upon a Blog. It sure would have been fun to have a fancy professionally designed blog. But it will be OK because now I can try to figure out this stuff on my own...oh goody. My first trial will be how to make a title bar with a picture in it. Wish me luck.

This weekend Shad's brother, Greg, his wife, Michelle and their daughter, Norah are coming over for a visit. The plan was to go to the water slide park, since they have never been, but the weather is looking pretty blah. High in the mid 70's is not a good temperature for being in and out of the water all day. We may have to bag it and head next door to the fun center for some go kart racing and video games. We'll have to wait and see how the weather turns out and how brave we are.

It's hard to believe but we are also gearing up for the move back home. Only 7 more weeks and we will pack up our house here in the desert and haul everything back to drizzle town (I just came up with that...). So just like the whole kids growing up business, I feel just as wack-o about moving back. Some times I am excited to go back and pick up where we left off and other times I am so sad to leave all our wonderful friends and church behind here. We always knew this would be temporary it's just so hard to accept that it already time. I know that God has a plan for us back home and He will be faithful to us in that plan. So we will trust Him and have faith. Really that is all we can do, isn't it?
