So we did what any self-respecting parent would do living in a place where the sun always shines and the summers are hot. We took the rig (that's a desert term for truck) down to the Wal-Mart (I don't know why they always put the infront of Wal-Mart) and loaded it up with a cheap plastic pool. And the kids did what any self-respecting kids would do. Jumped in and had a ball on the one strange evening in July that was cool and windy. Couldn't stop them, really. The excitement was just too much to bear! So as Mom lifted the hose out of the way for Dad as he mowed the lawn, they played in the freezing cold water that poured from it.

Woohoo! Looks like a blast! There is no equal to a cool pool for cranky kiddos on a hot day...even if your day wasn't that hot...I'm sure you'll have one soon!
