The Blaines

It's 9:30, the kids are in bed and Shad went back to work to try to finish up a few things tonight and help out for a bit with a big concrete pour that is happening there tonight. They have to pour at night because it is just too darn hot to pour during the day. The concrete sets up too fast to finish it properly. You would think I might know a thing or two about it since I just stated that highly intelligent amount of info, but, no, I asked Shad why and he told me. I am sitting here listening to the washing machine and Law and Order (nothing good on TV tonight). I am also anxiously awaiting the arrival of our friends Jeff and Debbie. You may remember me talking about Debbie in prior posts because she is the friend that I went to Vegas with. Anyway, we weren't expecting them until tomorrow, but they decided to plug on through tonight with their 3 year old and 10 month old. I guess the drive must be going well, or it is going so poorly that they just wanted to get it over with. It sounded quiet when I talked to her on the phone earlier. The point of this entire post is to inform you that you may not hear from me for a couple of days. But when I am back there will be some great pics, I am sure! We are heading to the water slide park on Saturday with the camera in tow. I'm not sure what else we are going to do, but what ever it is I will take lot's of pics!
