Twenty years ago my Consumer Economics teacher decided that I talked too much to my friend during class. To remedy this problem, he moved me to the back of the class, in a corner full of boys. I guess he figured I wouldn't want to talk to the boys. Well, I did talk to the boys, one in particular. A cocky boy that didn't seem like he was big enough to be so sure of himself. He would tease me when I would read my driver's manual in class because he already had his license and a truck! Little did he know that the more he teased me, the more I liked him. Like, liked him liked him.
Thankfully the feeling was mutual and we spent the rest of high school (with the exception of most of our junior year, we broke up for awhile) "going out".
We even went to our senior prom together.
(A couple months ago, our laptop died and we had to get a new PC. We got a package deal that came with a printer/copier/scanner, so now I can finally share some of my pre-digital camera pics. Consider yourself warned.)
Today that boy and I celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary.
Happy anniversary, Shad! I can look back and see that with each new year together, I love you more and more. Thank you for being my husband and best friend. I look forward to what God has in store for us in the coming years together.
I love you and thank God for you!
Love,
Rebekah

I never could have imagined what God had in store for the two of us. Thank you for being the wife that every man dreams of having.
