Josh and Hannah participated in a talent show at my parents' church the other night. Needless to say it was a very proud moment for Shad and I. Josh had been telling me all week that he wanted to tell a joke, but he kept saying he wanted to make one up. Honestly, I didn't really take him very seriously about it. But when we got to the church he went right to my mom and asked if he could tell a joke, so she went and got him on the agenda.
When they called his name he hesitated a bit. But then he hopped up, took the microphone then walked up onto the stage. When he turned around to face the audience, his face turned beet red. At first he stuttered, but then he fell right into the joke.
"What do you get an elephant when it's sick?"
(if you look really close, you'll see that his fly is down)
"A get wellephant card."
Ha!
Hannah had been going with my mom to dance practices for a few weeks. They did a beautiful dance with flags to Chris Tomlin's "How Great is Our God." So not only was she dancing, but she was worshipping God.
Here she is towards the end with Grandma.
A proud moment indeed.
