I recently purchased my first pair of skinny jeans. (Always a good time when you're 30 pounds heavier than you want to be.) Now I am not sure if they are officially skinny since they are not snugly tapered at the ankle, but I am going to say that these jeans are the skinniest I will ever wear. I was quite surprised at how good they looked when I tried them on, and quite pleased. The top is new, too. I'm still on the fence about that one. But there is nothing like some new, cute clothes after spending the last 6 months in elastic waste jeans and mu-mu tops. Although I am having to remind myself with each trip to the bathroom that these pants don't just pull down, I have to unbutton and unzip them first.
I was at the store shopping for a baby shower gift when I came across some ridiculous skinny jeans for Bethany. I just could NOT say no to them.
See?
They even have the trendy white stitching and the wiskering in the front and the back.
Her hiney looks pretty good in them.
(Mine looks good in my jeans too, but I wasn't going to make you all jealous with a picture.)
See the tiny strawberry buttons?
And here we are together sporting the skinny jeans.
FYI: Whether tiny or grown up sized, dark washed jeans will turn your white undies, onesie and socks blue if you don't wash them before you wear them.
Also, it is more difficult to put skinny jeans on a baby than it is to put them on yourself.

They will also turn your hands blue if you put them in your pockets very often, even after a washing or two. And yes, I learned this the hard way ;)
