The baby and a sick girl

I had my 36 week OB appointment today.  Everything looks good.  Due to my tendency to deliver early, the doctor went ahead and checked me while I was there.  He thinks, and I tend to agree, that this girl will be coming sometime this week!  Hannah was born at 36 weeks and 1 day, Josh at 37 weeks and 1 day.  Today I am 35 weeks and 5 days.  If things happen the way he/we think, I will have another girl born a month early.  This is, of course, ultimately up to God, but it's hard not to want to speculate.  I will keep you all up to date on what's happening.

In other news, Hannah is sick.  It started on Thursday when she vomited at church.  That only lasted about 12 hours.  Now she is so congested in her nose and has a cough.  Last night she could not breath through her nose and her cough sounded like croup.  I had to lay on the couch with her for awhile until she fell back to sleep.  She was laying in her bed coughing and told me she didn't want to be in her bed alone.  She was on the borderline of hyperventilating because she was so upset that she couldn't breath through her nose.  It was actually kind of nice to get to snuggle with her for awhile.  She hasn't fallen asleep on me since she was very little.  Being up from 1am to 2:30am was a bit of a bummer, though.  While she is stuffy and coughing, the girl is super perky during the day.  She's really hoping to be ready to go back to school on Wednesday because they are having a pajama party in her class in honor of the letter P.  I think she will be up to it.

Well, I'm off to finish vacuuming and mopping.  I just have to get it done before this girl arrives.  Not really, Shad is quite capable and willing to do that stuff.  But, hey, maybe the activity will help move things along, if ya know what I mean.
