Just Getting Started

Not only did my little guy start school this week, he also had his first field trip and jog-a-thon. Between moving, getting back into our community group, starting back at Mom 2 Mom, catching up with family and friends and having to start getting up at 6:15 am most days, it has been a very tiring week! But it has been so cool to see Josh go to school and do very well. He has handled being the "new kid" quite well. And I know how he must be feeling because at the field trip on Wednesday I was the "new mom." But it did go well and I am glad we were able to enjoy the pumpkin patch together.

Cheeeese!

The best group picture I could manage while riding on a hay ride.

At the jog-a-thon they had the kids running around the entire school building that involved a pretty steep up and down hill. Josh went around 8 times! Enough that he won a special treat (Skittles). Even his teacher was impressed that he was able to go around that many times. He's quite a little...uh, big, guy!

On another note: My good friend's dad is currently in surgery to see if they can save his arm after a farm accident involving an auger. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
