Is It Just Me?

Things my kids do that make me wonder if other kids do it too:

-Josh cried giant crocodile tears yesterday because Hannah flushed "his friend" the potato bug down the toilet.

-Hannah will sit around all day in her princess dress.

-Josh always asks me what we are going to do tomorrow and after I tell him, even if it is something he loves to do, he says "Nooooo! I don't want to do that!"

-When Josh dances it a mix between mosh pit and break dancing.

-Hannah thinks she needs hands-on help ever time she goes potty.

-Josh went about a year without wetting the bed. And now since April he has been sporadically wetting the bed about once a week.

-Hannah wears a pull-up ever night and is wet most mornings. She's been potty trained for about 8 months.

-Hannah finds great comfort in her thumb and blanky.

-Josh will eat peanut butter and jelly every day! I wonder where he got that...

-Hannah loves noodles with no sauce or just cheese.

-If I didn't "encourage" him, it would consistently take Josh a half hour to get dressed in the morning. He loves to flail around the room in all his naked glory.

-Hannah love to get dressed but always wants to wear a dress and it is a fight to get her to wear anything else. Dresses aren't very appropriate when we are going camping. She doesn't seem to get it. Maybe some day.

-Josh picks at his lower lip. He used to make it bleed.

-Hannah can make Josh cry. She's pretty tough.

-Josh loves to pick on Hannah when he can see that she is upset about something else.

-Hannah's way of dealing with a pesty brother is to scream in his face. If that doesn't work, she slaps him.

-Josh bounces out of bed in the morning and wants to have full conversations before I have even opened my eyes.

-Hannah wakes up tired and grumpy and likes to be left alone for a bit in the morning.

-Josh is very hard to distract when he is upset and he wants the whole world to know when he is disgruntled. It doesn't take much to make Josh disgruntled.

-Hannah can be distracted pretty easily, but sometimes she just needs to go to her room and cry it out.

-The kids play pretty well together, but you know how it goes, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt or mad or upset or...

What are some of the things your kids do that make you wonder?
