Just Walk Away

Can I just say that I am so proud of myself!? I took the weekend off from trying to fix the dang comments on this blog, and wouldn't you know it, it worked!! I copied all of my posts and saved them to a Word file and was getting ready to completely cancel my entire blog account and start over. Seriously! Just like the nursing paper that made me mad! But in trying to figure out how to do that, I started looking around in all the settings and stuff. I clicked on ONE little setting and now the comments work! Can you believe it?! Me one, blog zero! Ha! I was so excited I interrupted Shad's important day at work to tell him. He said he was proud of me too. So do it people! Leave comments, so I know that some one actually reads my ramblings. I'd love to hear from you, seriously!! I tell you what, the first person to leave a comment will receive a candy bar, of your choice, from me! The race is on...

So to totally change the subject, we did some camping and fishing this weekend. We went with the Winsteads and camped on this little river, or creek, I forget what it was called, but it was just up from Brownlee Reservoir close to Hell's Canyon. We had a great time! (Except poor little Weston who grabbed the pipe on Shad's bike and burned his little fingers!) We tromped through the woods, fished (and even caught some), checked out the Hell's Canyon look out, ate pretty much the best camping dinner I have ever made (if I do say so myself), listened to the kids fight, built a tee pee and just enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Great times were had by all!
